India's Global Study Destination Initiatives

To position India as a global hub for education, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 introduces several strategic initiatives. These include strengthening research and teaching collaborations with international higher education institutions (HEIs), encouraging Indian universities to establish campuses abroad, and setting up dedicated international student offices at each HEI to support foreign students. The policy also promotes the formation of mutually beneficial Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and aims to attract leading global universities to establish a presence in India.
